Pyjama Day: 24th November 2023
We held our Pyjama Day on Friday 24th as we like this event to coincide with the Toy Show. This is an occasion where our Student Council decide upon a worthy cause and the whole school raise awareness on helping those less fortunate. The chosen charity this year is Surgeon Noonan society in UCC. All pupils wore their PJs on the day and had lots of fun!
Surgeon Noonan Society is the largest student-run charitable society in UCC. Each year, fourth year medical students fundraise for underfunded hospitals across different parts of Sub-Saharan Africa. The funds we raised not only serves as maintenance funding but will also subsidise larger projects such as the building of new surgical wards and HIV outreach clinics.
