Junior lnfants noticed and enjoyed the special effect made by the sun shining on our Hallowe'en decorations and showing their shadows on the window blinds.
Capillary Action with Juniors
This experiment involves placing a celery stalk into water with food colouring in it. After a short while the stalk and leaves shows change of colour as the food colouring moves through the veins of the plant, as would water and minerals in normal course of events.
Rainbow Skittle with Junior Infants
This experiment shows that sugar dissolves when warm water is added to it. It also demonstrates colours mixing to create new colours.

Properties and Characteristics of Materials- Investigation Rang a hAon
Here we designed a tea bag and decided on the best materials
Ramps and Investigation of Friction on Different Surfaces
Mixing Materials to Create Halloween Slime
Investigating the best materials to use for building a house for a hamster
We worked out how we could reinforce our houses to make them stronger so they couldn't be blown down. We based our thinking on the story of The 3 Little Pigs and which type of house the wolf could not blow down.
