Junior lnfants noticed and enjoyed the special effect made by the sun shining on our Hallowe'en decorations and showing their shadows on the window blinds.

We used the Sun dial on the basketball court to tell the time on a sunny day in October. Daire is showing us that it is just after 11am.

Primary Colours of Light Investigation
We discovered the primary colours of light are red, green and blue.
Experiment showing that if the primary colours are spun quickly enough white colour can almost be produced.
This was done with a small battery operated whisk where the colour wheel was attached to the top and rotated and as the speed increased and decreased the children told what colours they were seeing as they merged
