Our Active Flag Committee with our prize from Irish Primary PE European School Sports Day competition
At the end of September we entered Irish Primary PE's European School Sports Day (ESSD) competition. Pupils from 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th were tasked with spelling out ESSD using school/sport equipment. We used school bags, chairs, pencil cases, water bottles and lots of PE equipment. We were overjoyed to be selected as one of the winning schools. We recently received our prize of a First-Play bat and ball pack. We look forward to using our new equipment in our PE lessons.
