RSA Seat Belt Sheriffs
On Tuesday May 7th 1st Class went to Dublin Castle to receive our Seatbelt Sheriff Award. When we arrived we were given big, yellow sheriff hats, red bandanas and a goodie-bag. We were taken to a special room in the castle and were asked to make our own headbands and also some fun balloon creations. We all had lunch in the castle and afterwards we watched a magic show and got soaked by the magician!
The awards ceremony took place in another room in the castle. It was very exciting. We received our runner up prize of €500 and a trophy, and went on stage to get our photo taken with the Gardaí and the people from the RSA.
After the awards ceremony we went to Dublin Zoo and saw a lot of interesting and funny animals; cheetahs, monkeys, tigers, penguins, giraffes... We had a brilliant time!
