Ballinspittle Abú!

A big thank you to our local GAA club Courcey Rovers who generously donated footballs and sliotars to our school. We will certainly be making great use of the footballs as we prepare for the Sciath na Scol final -venue and date yet to be confirmed.
Seen here are some of our school team players Tom, Sinead & Aoife, with Courcey Rovers coaching officer Vincent Deely and underage Chairperson Jamie Hayes.

Well done to our boys and girls on winning their Sciath na Scol semi-finals on October 16th. Both teams played tough matches against Summercove, playing really well to win both games.
In the group stages we played Dunderrow, Kilbrittain, Minane Bridge and Ballyheada. Both teams will now progress to their respective Sciath na Scol finals which will take place on Friday, November 10th at Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
